Title: Head- Financial ControlLocation: Kingdom of Saudi ArabiaAbout the CompanyOur client, a leading KSA-based bank, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller at GM / Chief level. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the bank's end-to-end financial control function, driving controllership excellence across accounting operations, reporting, and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Bank's Reconciliation Centre of Excellence, overseeing GL management, balance sheet substantiation, and month-end close processes across all business unitsEnsure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial, management, and regulatory reportingOversee Tax, Zakat, and withholding tax compliance in line with ZATCA requirements, ensuring robust controls and documentationManage the accounts payable function and fixed asset register, ensuring alignment with accounting standards and internal policiesDrive continuous process improvement and automation initiatives across finance operationsLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing financial control team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvementRequirements15+ years of experience in senior finance roles within the banking sectorHands-on expertise in technical and operational accounting, GL management, month-end close, and tax complianceProven experience with GL systems (Oracle or similar), AP, and fixed asset management toolsStrong track record of leading finance teams and managing complex, multi-stakeholder environmentsArabic speaking — essential for engagement with local regulatorsBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceThis role requires relocation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
