The RoleAs a Cost Controller, your role is to serve the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by ensuring effective monitoring and control of all operational costs within the hotel. You will be responsible for overseeing inventory management, food and beverage cost control, purchasing verification, and stock reconciliation processes to ensure operational efficiency and financial accuracy.This role is responsible for ensuring that all cost control procedures and financial activities are conducted to the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and compliance. Red Sea Global Hospitality employees continuously innovate in caring for the needs of the business, their guests, and their colleagues. As a Cost Controller, you will need to:Monitor and control food, beverage, and general store costs to ensure operational efficiency and profitability.Review and verify all purchase orders, invoices, receiving records, and store requisitions for accuracy and compliance with company procedures.Conduct regular inventory counts and stock reconciliations for food, beverage, operating supplies, and other inventory items.Analyze cost variances, wastage, spoilage, and consumption patterns, and report any discrepancies to the Financial Controller.Ensure all inventory movements are accurately recorded in the inventory and accounting systems.Coordinate with Purchasing, Receiving, Kitchen, and Food & Beverage departments to ensure proper stock control procedures are followed.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost control reports and analysis for management review.Monitor menu pricing, recipe costing, and portion control to ensure targeted profit margins are achieved.Verify supplier pricing and ensure all goods received match approved purchase orders and quality standards.Assist in month-end closing activities related to inventory valuation and cost reporting.Maintain proper documentation and filing of all cost control and inventory records for audit purposes.Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements without compromising quality and guest satisfaction.Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.Support internal and external audit requirements when necessary.Perform any additional duties as required to ensure operational smoothness and financial accuracy.In Return, What We Offer Exciting opportunities for personal and professional development at all levels, featuring targeted development programs aimed at equipping you for your next career move.
